Lead Learners

Why lead?  Because it is the right thing to do.  “Every day you must decide whether to put your contribution out there, or keep it to yourself to avoid upsetting anyone, and get through another day. Leadership is worth the risk because the goals extend beyond material gain or personal advancement. By making the lives of people around you better, leadership provides meaning in life. It creates purpose.”
Heifetz and Linsky, Leadership on the Line: Staying Alive Through the Dangers of Leading

"It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest wall of oppression and resistance."

Robert F. Kennedy, South Africa, 1966
